- Answer I wouldn't because it will degrade the batteries over time. It doesn't have a charging float to turn on and off when the batteries lose change

- Answer Yes, it works to charge every device I have tried. I have multiple devices that use USB micro and type C. I have not used mini, but I am sure it would have no issue with it. Note: the speaker needs to be turned ON for the charging feature to work.
