Is it a stereo output? I see nothing that says stereo. null

This is a single speaker. Stereo requires a minimum of 2 speakers.

The unit is STEREO ...there are two small speakers (aprox 1 in each) facing front ...and a passive radiator in the back

It is just one speaker, therefore, it is not stereo. stereo = 2 speakers. With that said, it is a 360 degrees speaker where you will hear the sound filling the room by bouncing the music off the ceiling and walls. It is basically will give you a stereo simulated sound.
