• A:Answer These headphones have a slight noise cancelling effect. If you are looking to block significant amounts of background noise these are probably not the right headphones for you.

Q: QuestionI just use a soft phone For some reason my microphone is not working. I tried plugging that usb in, and downloaded drivers I can hear the caller, but they cannot hear me. Confirmed I have my audio settings set up correctly even tried reconnecting

• A:Answer I had the same problem. I could hear fine but the person on the other end said I was garbled or couldn't hear me at all. I ended up taking the item back as it doesn't seem to work properly.

• A:Answer This would probably not be a good choice for that. The microphone is situated so that it will capture your voice and try to eliminate all background noise (music).

• A:Answer All you need is a USB outlet...which most laptops have several....It comes with a Bluetooth dongle. Plug it into a USB port, and it will sync with the headset. From there, you volume and such from the head set or your laptop.

• A:Answer I do not think so. They need to first be connected to a Windows, Mac OS, Chrome OS, or Linux machine using the drivers that those operating systems provide. A direct connect to BT speakers likely does not provide the drivers needed for the boom mic to send audio. You would have to find some way of sending the audio out the computer to the BT speakers (or with a wired connection) once the headset is paired to the computer.
