A:AnswerTracy, for large items such as sheets, sleeping bags, small comforters, jackets, and small washable rugs you may want to use the Bulky Items & Sheets cycle. Use this cycle to wash large items such as jackets and small comforters. The washer will fill with enough water to wet down the load before the wash portion of the cycle begins, and uses a higher water level than other cycles. We hope this helps!
A:AnswerHello Grace, this Washer does have a delicate cycle. During the delicate cycle there will be a slower spin speed and a gentle wash motion to clean delicate items.Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Amana appliances!
A:AnswerI won't wash rugs in any washer unless they are real small like bathroom rugs. I do wash my queen size comforter in the washer on deep water wash only and only once a month or so.
A:AnswerHello, we recommend unplugging the Washer for at least 2 minutes to reset your Washer. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Amana appliances!
A:AnswerMy Amana washing machine did the same thing. It worked normally for a while then, stopped filling w/ water & only made the draining sound.
Where the water lines/hoses connect to the washing machine, there are 'built-in' filters / strainers in the connection point.
The filters are easily seen, once the water hoses are disconnected. TURN THE WATER SPIGOTS OFF before you disconnect hoses from washer..DUH
I checked each side of my water supply, to be sure I was actually getting water from both hot & cold side.
My filters were clogged w/ sand. I used an old tooth brush & water to clean them. I reconnected the hoses, turned water on & the washer worked perfectly..
1 year later, washer is still working fine. We were in a drought so, maybe our 250' deep well was lower than we realized
A:Answerlblondie1, unfortunately, Amana does not offer a Washer without a sensing option at this time. We will be sure to pass along your suggestion for future consideration.
A:AnswerToo small for a king size. I will say I don't like the auto- sensing fill feature you could put two socks in it and it would still fill -- all the way to the top with water the thing is water thirsty.

A:AnswerFrom wall to front of washing machine on mine is 32 inches. But mine is flush on front to dryer because dryer exhaust line was bigger around than old one.
A:Answer- just put it on deep water wash and heavy or bulky it will fill to the top it only doesn't work in regular mode it will be set to default as the manual says this and then we'll work off of sensing. On the ad page go down to the manufacturer next to q&a's and reviews and you can click on getting the PDF owner manual or the one that comes with it does give that info the only thing I would do is make sure you have enough soap put that in first then load the clothes on top I would put a deep water wash with extra rinse if your water is hard. Seems to work fine for me other than some rattling on the back metal plate that I will be adding some little rubber shims behind it when it is spinning otherwise it's good and it's quiet.
A:AnswerAmrebhol, yes, this Washer does come with a drain hose. Hopefully, this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Amana appliances!
A:AnswerCold water would be based on how cold your tap water is.
Hot water would be based on how hot the water from you water heater is.
Living in Florida, my cold water might be 65 - 70 degrees, whereas someone living in the great white north might experience 40 degree cold water. A cool wash might be a better choice in that case.
