Make sure that your equipment supports surround sound and is set up correctly. Some AVRs will require height speakers for Atmos support. Check the user manual that came with your devices or contact the manufacturer for more help. Make sure that you’re using a high-speed HDMI cable. Optical cables don’t fully support surround sound.Connect your Fire TV device directly to the HDMI input on your soundbar or AV receiver.
