- Answer This is just the hardware. You need software..meaning APPS. So research Android APPS for you specific uses. There ate many free tv apps out there. Crackle, etc. Live tv , dvr apps just due diligent research before just getting Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+. If it is online, it is free somewhere and LEGAL!!!
