A:AnswerRunner...you really don't need it on all your TV channels. But here is what I learned after switching from Cox Cable to ATT TV. I have only one ATT box on my main TV but I used a fire tv stick to pull up the ATT TV app on my other older HDMI tvs. It saves me money so I don't have to pay for another box. With the Firestick you can get the apps that you might have on your phone through the stick. Apps like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Disney Plus, etc., and ATT TV. Now some adding other apps may mean you have to purchase a subscription, but with the stick, you can get quite a bit more content and may not have to pay. I believe you can get some of your ABC, NBC, CNN, FOX, etc broadcasts too. It certainly is worth it to give it a try. I really love my Fire TV Stick because my ATT TV box sometimes goes out for like an hour! But, I use my fire tv stick to pull up the app and since I already pay for the box, I can get that app on all my devices. Good luck!
A:AnswerI purchased the regular fire stick for a 1080p TV but returned it when I realized the 4k had a much faster processor and better user experience. If you're not concerned about that and don't mind a little slower UI, then it might not be worth the extra money.
A:AnswerOnly if you live in an area that is available via the locast app. Another suggestion is to go to the Silk browser then type in your local tv station's website then click on the live news link.
A:AnswerThe Amazon Fire-Stick HD (1080) supports "AT&T TV Now", as long as you have both a Valid Amazon-Prime and AT&T TV Accounts and download the AT&T TV App.. Based on the fact that "AT&T TV Now" works with the Fire-Stick HD, suspect that "AT&T TV Now" will also work on the Fire-Stick 4K Ultra.. Just be sure to have a High-Speed Wi-Fi Connection, as the Fire-Stick 4K requires at least 50 Mbs Bandwidth; otherwise Network Error, and Fire-Stick 4k will Not connect to Network Router. The following URL/Link from AT&T may help with any other Questions or Issues..

A:AnswerWe have both Versions of the Fire-Sticks (1080-HD & 4K-Ultra) in our Home, and we also take them on Vacation.. What has been evident when we travel, is that many Locations do Not have "True" Hi-Speed Wi-Fi.. When the Wi-Fi Speed is approximately 25 to 35 M-Bits (or less), the 4K-Ultra Fire-Stick performs erratically, and sometimes will Not even connect to the Wi-Fi Router, displaying an "Unknown Network Error".. In reality the "Unknown Network Error" has typically been the insufficient Wi-Fi Speed.. When we swap out the 4K-Ultra Fire-Stick, and use the 1080-HD Firestick, everything works OK.. And again, when we return home with Wi-Fi Speeds at 50 M-bits and higher, the 4K-Ultra works without any issues.. Not sure if the Wi-Fi Speed is the problem with your Fire-Stick in your home, but Wi-Fi Speed has been the Issue every time we have traveled and been unsuccessful with the 4K-Ultra Fire-Stick. Fortunately, the 1080-HD Firestick is able to connect to the Router and effectively Stream the various Channels on the TV's.. So, possibly a faster Internet Connection from your Internet Provider, or a faster Wireless Router (802.11-AC) will help.. Lastly, you can try the 1080-HD Fire-Stick in place of the 4K-Ultra Fire-Stick.. Hope this helps..
