- Answer Try to re-sync the remote. With new batteries in your remote, push and hold the select button (middle button) and the left side of the circular button together. Hold both buttons down for at least 10 seconds. It should reconnect. If not, try chatting with Amazon Support.

- Answer Yes, but you will need to subscribe to a streaming service like Hulu Live or YoutubeTV first. Not sure if there are other ways to get local channels through Fire Stick. I have a VHF antenna that I get local channels with. This is not through the Fire Stick, but through the antenna input on my tv.
