- Answer That depends on a few key items. If the motherboard contains an AM4 socket is necessary and if the motherboard bios is up to date enough that it covers this processor. If the motherboard does not have built in video graphics then you would not be able to use the graphics capability in this processor and you would need a separate video graphics card.

- Answer If your pc has the ryzen 3 3200u (15 watt dual core laptop apu with 3 gpu cores) that they put in cheap desktops then yes this would be a good upgrade. It works with the “AM4” slot.

- Answer You’ll need to go to the motherboards website and click on the drivers, and updates. Download the Latest Bios update on to your PC, then extract the files, and save them to a USB Flash drive. Restart your PC and go into the UEFI, by hitting delete over and over,typically. Once in the UEFI you should have an option to flash your Bios. Click on the USB Flash that you just saved the new update on, and the motherboard will update to the new Bios. Make sure your PC doesn’t turn off during the update!!!!!!!!. Hope this helps.

- Answer TBH with the resupply of new chips on that market going on right now, i would look into a chip that is not being hoardered. Try looking into the Ryzen 5 3400G version of this chip. Ive been finding it at a lot more outlets, and its even cheaper than the 3300G at time of writing. Hope it helps.
