A:AnswerIt needs to be plugged into a power brick. The one that came with it failed on mine and I tried an iPhone plug and it wouldn’t work, had to use a larger one for my iPad to get it to charge so I don’t think a laptop would output enough to run it either.
A:AnswerJust lean it up against the stand. Either vertical or horizontal. It will charge it. I’m pretty sure this doesn’t answer your question. But maybe it will help someone else.
A:AnswerI have a brand iPhone XS Max and all the new iPhones can wireless charge @ the 7.5W power delivery . The 9W or 10W power delivery are specific to certain Samsung phones that support 10W. I’ve asked this question while at Apple Store and Best Buy store. Yesterday while at a Verizon store they sell a Mophie charging pad+ that says the same thing.
