Yes, you can. Having the wiring in place makes it super easy. This antenna has a range of 60 miles. There are several things that determine what kind of reception you will get, i.e. broadcast signal strength, distance from broadcast antenna, topography, etc. This website is really helpful https://www.antennaweb.org/

You will need to note several things including the direction of the transmitters, the signal strength and the real channel that the station is transmitting on. For example, in our town, the PBS station is listed as Channel 15 but is actually being broadcast on Channel 3. This antenna will not work on channels 2 - 6. If your stations are located in multiple directions, you might be able to aim the antenna in between them if they are close. Otherwise you will need a rotor or a separate antenna pointed in each direction - connected by a splitter. BTW, your old antenna might work just fine. Even though we now have HDTV, the antennas still work the same way. If it worked on analog, it should work on digital, as long as it covers VHF and UHF. But you maybe in luck. Depending on where you are located in Richmond, TX (21102) the transmitters are mostly in the same place and the signals are strong. Your stations are all on high VHF or UHF. However, the FCC is moving stations around in channel. These are Houston stations and RabbitEars.info lists the stations to be moved. It looks like none are going to the low-VHF band. KTDJ-LD is on channel 5 and that is a minor station.
