A:AnswerGreetings from Antennas Direct! A:AnswerWhen my wife and I installed this antenna I mounted it on the roof and then talked to her on the phone and she kept checking channel strength as I rotated to multiple directions. Didn't take long to find best position for optimum channels.
A:AnswerYes. It will plug into any coaxial TV. Plus the mounting bracket would make it really easy and flexible for mounting on an RV. You may need a longer coaxial cord just depending on how far the TV is from where you mount the antenna.
A:AnswerThe electricity has to go somewhere. Down the pole and into the ground is better than through the cable wire and into your house. A ground doesn't mean that electricity can't follow the cable into your home, but electricity takes the path of least resistance... which is why you should have a good ground wire.
A:AnswerMaybe.
Go to TV Fool website to tell you your TV transmitter availability. All my stations were within 40 miles.
You can test the antenna before installing it. I it took out of the box. Hooked it up to my TV. Propped it up with pillows on my bed pointing in the general direction of the stations.
First direction I got NBC, CBS, ABC, ION, CW, LAFF and some others. I then rotated it 30 degrees and picked up FOX and some others. You have to go to <settings<setup<channels<auto search after each positioning. I am sold at this point.
To install in attic, I used 3/8 plywood to put down a floor. I screwed the mount to the floor. Connected the RG-6 co-ax already there to the antenna.. Pointed the antenna in the right direction. I was done.
For wiring I am using the cabling already in the house.
For four outlets you may have to put in an in-line signal booster.
Try it. If it doesn't work Bestbuy will refund your money.
If you try to run your internet and new antenna signal thru same cabling things can get more complex. I only send antenna feed to one TV. I send internet to another and use WIFI for my household internet needs. Everything you need to know is on the net.
Don't buy cheap stuff for the installation. Use RG-6 co-ax any place.
Website TV Fool shows most of your station at around 40 degrees at 20 to 30 miles away. NBC will be the hard one. It is 65 miles at 130 degrees. Terrain is variable.
Do some research and give it a go.
A:AnswerYou are 100 miles from everything.
The good new is all the stations are in the same direction. Flat terrain.
Get a 100 mile antenna. Get a good ($35) signal booster and lte noise filter. Mount on top of your house.
My Bestbuy here has a very good store manager. He helped me. Start there.
Good luck.
A:AnswerEveryone's experience can be different, even next door neighbors. You will have to try it to see if it will work in your location. If it doesn't work, you can return it within 14 days for a refund.
