  • Questioncan this be mounted in the attic?

    Asked by Bobbym.

    • Answer Our unit box had a huge long coax cable included, suitable for connecting an attic installation of the antenna to a TV downstairs. What box did NOT have was a simple 3 foot cable that we needed for a bedroom, beside the TV, set up. We had spare short cables in storage.

  • QuestionDoes this ANTOP BIG BOY work on a Smart Vizio tv??

    Asked by leroy.

    • Answer I have the top of the Samsung Line, it's an 8K 2160 picture, I don't think any one is transmitting in 8k yet, but I always keep my TV's for about 13 years. I wanted the latest and greatest, since I am 76 years old.

  • QuestionI have a pin on the wall antenna cost $60 and I have to move it often... do I have to move this one around?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer There is not an answerable question, because it's dependent on a lot of factors that are unknowable, most of which are not under your control. It's a really good antenna but it's still just an antenna. It required me to spend quite a bit of time finding an optimal placement within my room so that it optimized for the channels that I care about and I am very pleased with the result (especially compared to the several other antennas that I tried before this one).

  • QuestionWill this antenna work with a Vizio tv without a tuner?

    Asked by SmartCast.

    • Answer Not unless you buy a separate tuner, which can be had for under $30 on the internet or you can get a TIVO Edge for Antenna, they are awesome, have a DVR and also all the apps that Roku does, plus a great TV channel list for 2 weeks in advance just like cable.. It’s really pretty much the same as cable, but over the air. The bad is it costs more than the cheap boxes.
