“Is a cell plan required or can i purchase the iPad that is capable of cellular service, but not have cell service?”

This question is for: Apple - 12.9-Inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi + Cellular - 256GB (Unlocked) - Space Gray

You do not need to set up the cellular service. Usually the cost of an iPad is higher to have that capability but with this current sale I’m thinking of buying it and not using the cell service.
