Not at all, if you want noise canceling then these are not for you, but they let noise through so if you are in public and someone is trying to get your attention, it’s nice for reasons like that. If you have EarPods, they cancel noise just as well as them!

You’re pushing it! But if you really want it, install the rubber ear socks too make it tighter if a fit and maybe get what you’re looking for.
