No you cannot download anything to the headphones. They are just like other Bluetooth headphones and require a source to play sound from. They are just true wireless headphones.

You can't download any file to AirPods. They are just headphones to listen to your music library. The AirPods will however work with all of the devices that you have listed?

You would use these to listen to anything you have in iTunes. So, as long as you have a way to rip your cds to iTunes, you could. I’m not sure how you’d do that on an iPad but I have ripped all my cds to itunes from my computer
