“Do the Apple AirPods work well with the iwatch series 3? I have a pair of Jaybird Runs and the volume is very limited with my watch but can get loud when connected to my phone. I don’t know if it is a limitation of the iwatch or if it is the earphones.”

I have the Airpods and the Apple Watch Series 2 Nike+ Edition and they work seamlessly with my watch! I would assume it would be the same for the Series 3, and possibly would be even better. I also notice the volume is not drastically different from Watch to Phone, but with some wireless headphones, you do have to keep the volume up to match 3.5mm jack headphones.
