• Using “find my iPhone” is the best option for finding your phone you need to use “find my” to locate AirTag to begin with so it does not make sense to attach to an iPhone to find it easier unless your phone dies ALL the time

• An Apple Watch on your wrist provides the easiest way to locate your misplaced iPhone. Or the “Find My” website can play a sound on your device. Calling the phone can work as long as it’s not set to vibrate-only. An AirTag is useless for this application.
