“Can this be used if you only have an Iphone 8 plus? if so does that mean the signal won't be as strong or work so far away as it would be if you have an iphone 11 or 12? If you cannot use an older iphone, it should be noted on the website for people.”

Please try again later.The airtag is compatible with any phone that can run iOS 14.5 (so essentially any iPhone 6s or newer) the thing though is that you wont have precision tracking which helps direct you towards the airtag as far as 70ft away, so yes your phone is compatible with the airtag.
