If you choose "play sound" on the Find My app it will. It will also make noise if it thinks that it's being used as a tracking device (eg. if an Apple device that isn't registered to the AirTag is detected to be with it.)

Yes! You can turn sound on in find me to help locate an item!

Yes, it does make noise! But only if you activate it in the "Find My" App. It's not like the Tile--it doesn't have a button on the front that if pressed makes a noise.

Only if you do it in the program yourself!
