As long as there is an iPhone (doesn’t have to be yours) nearby, it will tell you where it’s at. I sent this with my son on a school trip today and I’ve been able to make sure he’s where he’s supposed to be all day. They’re about 100 miles away from me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You’re not going to get an alert as the trailer rolls away, but if it rolls past someone who has an iPhone you’ll be able to find its new location. So it’s not an effective theft prevention device but might make recovery possible. Except don’t go tracing your own stolen goods, that’s dangerous!
