• Yes. If you want to get a second phone at the discounted price she will need to sign a contract too

• If you want to add a line to your existing contract, you usually don't need a separate contract, she can be added to yours if you're credit qualifies you for additional lines. You need to call Verizon to find out.

• You can add your wife but I'm sure you'll have to sign a new contract. Anytime I've made changes to my plan, they had me sign a new two year contract. Hope this helps.
