Q: QuestionDo I have to take this to my AT&T store to switch it over from the model I am currently using or does the Geek Squad handle this upgrade?

• A:Answer You can do it yourself. I ordered the phone via mail, it came to my house with the SIM card. I used my old sim and put it in the new phone and activated it. Then I did the phone transfer the Apple has built I. Where you just place the phones next to each other and it transfer the entire phone wirelessly

• A:Answer Call the customer service to find out when the plan is paid for or wait till you receive a text message asking you to renew but I do not think you have to keep a plan with Straight Talk , I believe this is a prepaid plan , a subsidiary of T-Mobile but if you decline to renew then you may not be able to use that phone so to be on the safe side , call the customer service first then ask to unlock the phone and see if there is a certain period required till you can get the phone unlocked

• A:Answer When my 1st old phone (6S,16 gig) just up and died (no warning). I borrowed my wife's old phone (6S. 64 gig). Set it up as a new device and synce'd it with the Icloud. I had no issues. I would think this would be similar. PS I also changed out the sims card.
