- Answer Office for Mac 2011 will not run on this Mac mini. 32-bit Apple software stopped running on Macs starting from macOS Catalina. There are plenty of 64-bit office suite products available that will load Microsoft Office products on this device. Many of them are available free of charge.

- Answer Yes, a monitor from a windows unit can be used on a Mac. Yes, a Mac can be hacked, as can any other computing device. Like all of the "big tech" hardware and software providers, Apple provides regular security updates and will likely support this device with security updates to the year 2033, if their past history for device support plays out similarly for this device.

- Answer Age has little to do with this issue. I am self-taught, with the help of Google, YouTube and fellow nerd-type elders. The technology moves so fast it's hard to keep up if you're working on the system in question. The Mini looks great; it could be the answer to my upgrade issues and storage. I am not a smooth Cloud user but I'm learning. Give people a break … someday EVEN YOU may be old. I hope no one is rude to you about it.
