“My understanding 2013 model. How much life in years can I get from this Mac? Need it for Med. School. Does it have USB A port? Thanks”

• It won’t take the newest version of OS much longer. Older versions still work, but eventually they will stop doing security updates. If you need it for med school you should buy a new one. They enter “obsolete” status in 5-7 years. That said I have a 2009 iMac and I love it. Time to get a new one!
