On the box it shows that it pairs with the following: Ipad Pro 12.9 inch 1st and 2nd generation Ipad Pro 10.5 - inch Ipad Pro 9.7 - inch Ipad 6th generation

Yes, I hooked it up to my mom's 7th Gen iPad just the other day. Make sure you get the app Procreate on iPad to go with it. It's $9.99 but its well worth it, and way cheaper than Photoshop.
