• If you have the 2019 iPad the first generation pencil works perfectly.

• Hi Emeri I bought the new iPad 10.2 with the pencil and it works! You connect it via Bluetooth to the device so they pair up and it works. So whatever device you have it won’t just work-you have to pair them. I hope this helps! KP
