• A:Answer They keyboard attaches to the iPad Pro via magnets on the non-keyboard side, then the keyboard is activated via a separate set of magnets in the grooves when the iPad is set at an angle like shown in the pictures. If the iPad is not in one of those grooves, the keyboard is deactivated.

• A:Answer It’s supposed to, but I don’t use it as such. It’s only held with magnets, and the edges of the iPad are exposed. Any drop and I’m sure it will fall right out. It also doesn’t work with my case on the iPad and I haven’t found any that support both
