Yes it should work. I have a thunderbolt 2 and I up graded to the mac book pro 2018 so I would think it would work for Air as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work with this adapter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using the Thunderbolt Type C adapter with a Belkin Thunderbolt version 1.0 dock. While I cannot say for certain that your Thunderbolt 2 will work, I can say I am optimistic that it would based upon the adapter handling the 1.0 spec. Via my Belkin, I am able to pass sound through to my Apple Display, use external speakers and was even able to access a thumb drive through the dock. What I have not done is any extensive or long term use of this adapter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If it is very good, the same thing happened to me, I had my macbook pro 2011 and I update 2019, I recommend the adapter
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work just fine. But it's designed to work kinda in reverse. Keep in mind that you won't achieve higher then Thunderbolt 2 speeds. You would need a TB 3 cable to the adapter, and the adapter would go to your dock. One reason that it stands out as a product is that is bidirectional, so it's a pretty flexible unit,
