• No. That would be 7.1.4. Apple TV does not support Atmos.

• You’re right, they are not. Novice explanation here but I believe Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 deals in channels (i.e. distribution to speakers) while Atmos is a software driven delivery or enhancement of the sound.

• No, but it has been floating around that this box may eventually support Dolby Atmos. Just have to wait for an update. I really hope tat Apple will add it later, and it seems likely considering the box supports Dolby vision or whatever the Dolby hdr Standard is.
