Yes. I dropped Dish and use Apple TV to stream Hulu Live for less than half the cost! I also added a few other apps for additional content I’m interested in watching.

However, it does allow you to get apps for services such as Sling TV, Playstation Vue, Hulu Live TV, that can act as a cable TV/Dish Substitue. If you're not interested in Live TV, then you can check out basic Hulu, Netflix, etc. Good Luck Rico
