In a word, yes. I’m not entirely sure about an NFL subscription, for whatever reason the NFL and Verizon are constantly in bed together so you may or may not be able to get an NFL Network subscription. As far as MLB goes, yes you definitely can get an MLB subscription and see so much baseball and baseball only that you’ll begin to think your TV turned into an exhibit at the baseball hall of fame. Now I will say from experience, the most bang for your buck would probably come from a subscription to Sling TV, DirectTV Now, or some other similar service in that they operate somewhat like cable service does, but no where near the price. I personally have DirectTV Now, pay under $40 a month and have about 80 channels, most football, baseball, and other sports included.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had NHL package, MLB package, and NFL Gamepass every year for about 4-5 years and have always been required to have a cable subscription. As far as I know in order to get these packages you still need a cable package even though the most basic will do. I believe if cable companies lost this control over sports packages it would 100% be the end of cable tv as we know it. Everyone would leave the ridiculous monthly charge. I don’t think I am wrong because I have looked hard every year to escape paying cable to get my sports packages.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe that you can download apps from Apple, and they could have 'In-App purchase' options.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can buy MLB, NHL, and NBA. The NFL Ticket iOS app requires an NFL ticket subscription which cannot be purchased through the app store. You can send the picture to the TV through the AppleTV.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know that NFL and MLB both the TVOS apps, with this being said I an unsure how they would bill you, if you could buy a subscription through them or if you would have to log in though your tv provider. You would have to do addition research
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are programs u can purchase. Much like Hulu. But u do need some kind of a cable or satellite connection to view sports programming or any kind of prime time shows streaming live. We cannot watch our local sports teams without a satellite feed. Hopefully my answer will help you a little Kitti.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NFL No. MLB Yes. It is hit an miss. Like HBO GO works for free with a cable package, but HBO NOW, you can buy w/o a cable package.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can get all the premium channels (HBO, Showtime, etc) for an additional monthly fee. The MLB and NFL networks require you to have a cable provider, but I just got HULU Live which allows me to watch every sporting event.
