Iphones can only screenshare through apple tv.

Please try again later.Since you are asking this on an appleTV thread ill assume you have an apple tv, the answer would be yes kind of but you need to use a wireless network common to the Apple tv and the iPhone 8, than you could airplay what is on you phone to you apple tv, in the past used and iPad to HDMI dongle to plug into one of the empty HDMI ports on the TV, but now i just routinely stream right from my phone to apple tV
