“Can this Apple TV able to download the Spectrum app that Apple has been claiming was going to be launch on their last Keynote? I have an Apple 3rd gen TV and can't download the cable app on it thus far. Today is 1/7/19. Any help would appreciated.”

• These new AppleTV's are capable of downloading apps from the internet (downloads are done via navigating with the user interface) so it should be able to download and run the Spectrum app just fine. The old 3rd generation AppleTV's do not have the ability to download/install new apps (only updates to apps preloaded on the units - e.g. Netflix, Hulu, iTunes, etc.). Hope that helps.

• Yes, the Spectrum app for Apple TV was just released a few weeks ago and is usable on this model.
