AppleTV is your best bet. Stream from iPod or computer and control either from iPod or iPhone. It's a steal at $99 and you don't have to buy any additional software.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It comes down to price. If the TV has the items built in, and the price is great, then go with the TV w/these features. If they are over charging for these items built into the TV, then look for the cheaper addition of using an external device to connect to your TV, which can do the same thing. It's more convienent to have it all built in, but don't over pay for these features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only if you have an iPad. It does not have browsing capabilities on its own. You would have to use the iPad to browse and then stream to the TV? You can view YouTube and use Netflix with just the remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say the 'easiest' if you have an iPod Touch would be to use an Apple TV with AirPlay. You can install the Hulu+ and Netflix apps on the iPod Touch and then connect via AirPlay. The set up could not be easier! I use it with an iPad 2, but I would assume that the iPod Touch would work in the same way. Both my TV and HTPC have DLNA support but the UI is nowhere close to being as easy or seamless as the Apple TV. Also, I think almost all your Android apps probably are also available for the iPod Touch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have both, a TV with wifi built in and the Apple TV set up on another TV. Both work great. Can't say one is better than the other. Only thing to watch out for is be sure if you go with the wifi TV that it's built in and not just "ready", as that means it only works if you add an adapter and that's another expense.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not really. The DLNA transfers video files... does not stream HULU. And even if it did the Roku does not support DLNA... Maybe look at the Sony set-top box. But if Hulu is all you're are worried about it the Roku will stream that over wifi... but I would still get something that is DLNA certified (it's the future). Now with apple you can mirror it from the devices... but not the ipod, you would have to have and iPhone 4 or iPad 2. My suggestions are below.
I would recommend:
