• The fun thing about Apple is all I devices are comparable. You can stream content from your browser, use mirroring on any screen, stream pictures, music, and videos from any I device! So, yes your iPod will work

• I believe the answer to this is yes. If they are on your iPod touch, that means they are in your iTunes library right? (I assume they are because that's how you got them onto your iPod). Apple TV will stream any movie in your iTunes library onto your TV, whether it was purchased on iTunes or if you brought it in on your own. I have lots of MPG videos that I converted to MP4 format and have in my iTunes library, and they all stream just fine over Apple TV. It's really cool!
