The watch does not have a-fib, but does have ecg readings but states it cannot detect a heart issue but can alert you if an arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat precludes a physician check. If you get the wifi version you don't need to purchase a new additional number. I wouldn't recommend getting a watch with it's only # plus it's extra $ every month.
