If the drive is not a 2.5" drive, then probably not. The cable specifically says "FOR USE WITH 2.5" NOTEBOOK DRIVES ONLY." When I try it with a 3.5" desktop drive on my Windows PC, the drive doesn't even spin up. You might have better luck copying your files from the Windows PC to your Mac over a network or with a USB drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The packaging shows that you should be able to transfer your data with this cable. You will need to follow the link they give to download the ShirtPocket Super Duper lite software to use on your Mac to assist with the transfer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is designed to Clone a new drive to match what you have.( Not PC to Apple) . Best way in your case - Copy PC files to a Flashdrive , Then see if apple will read the info.- The Cable is your most valuable part - It allows a SATA drive to act like a External drive. But your Mac software has to be able to read PC files - The software included cant transfer PC to Mac - Beware that PC and Mac don't always use the same method ... You have xFat , Fat & another form
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if the old drive is ata 2 1/2 " it will work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. If your external drive is windows and you’re trying to extract it to your Apple device, it’s a different format and it will not read it. This device is only good for Carbon Copying from one OS to another (windows to windows or Mac to Mac)
