I have used it to transfer Windows 10 from mechanical drives to SSD drives on 3 different computers. I also used it to transfer Windows 7 on another laptop. Works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used the cable to clone my HDD to my new SSD, and it is windows 10, I did NOT use the software the able came with though it would not clone properly, but when I used the software my new SSD told me to use it worked perfect
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I answered this earlier and thought I was answering a different question about a SSD. Disregard that one. If I remember correctly it does work with Windows 10, since I've transferred many computers with it. The software that comes with the kit is EZGig.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should be fine, though you're going to be limited for space after the OS install. Best Buy should take it back if it doesn't work though. I've never purchased storage hardware that was non-returnable, nor would I, since I've had them DOA out of the box before.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used it with a Windows 10 Machine and did not experience any difficulties with the Apricot Data transfer cable (gray color) even though it only shows Win XP, 7, and VIsta on the packaging..
