Is the doorbell camera motion activated? null

It's not a doorbell camera. It's just an audio doorbell.

First, there's no camera on the actual doorbell. You have to designate one camera for the front porch area which is motion activated. Once the doorbell button is pressed you receive phone call.

Your Arlo Audio Doorbell automatically detects motion. When it detects motion it can either trigger your chime to make a sound or trigger a camera (if setup) to record the detected motion. ^KN

The doorbell is not a camera. You can set it up to have one of the cameras turn on when someone pushes the doorbell button. It's pretty much worthless in my opinion. I still haven't set up the doorbell because I also have a Ring doorbell.

The doorbell is not a camera. You can set it up to have one of the cameras turn on when someone pushes the doorbell button. It's pretty much worthless in my opinion. I still haven't set up the doorbell because I also have a Ring doorbell.
