• It is not water proof. You will need the Arlo Pro wireless version if you're looking for something water proof.

• Arlo Q is not waterproof and not recommended for outdoor.

• The arlo q can not be placed outdoor without enviromental damage. There is an Arlo for outdoor monitoring though.
