- Answer Yes, Pro 2 cameras can be added to the Smart Hub that comes with the Ultra Cameras. I just got the system myself and am really impressed.

- Answer Yes you can as long as they are the 4K cameras. Each camera systems use different base stations and cannot be interchanged. I do believe there is a limit to the number you can add. I just uploaded a review of these cameras. You may want to read before buying the 4K system.

- Answer no it has rechargeable batteries. you can purchase accessory to hard wire. the cameras are real easy to install and remove for easy charging

- Answer Everything you said depends on the details related to your question - but if you're upgrading, you most likely are going to Ultra cameras which automatically allows for 10 cameras and gives you 1 yr on the higher end plan for free.

Questionif you have the external power cord connected to the camera will it charge the battery ? if I connect power cord to house light that is on at night only will the camera run off battery during day and power cord at night to extend battery life?

- Answer If its direct plug it will always be charging and of course running of the battery but battery remains charged because it’s plugged in

- Answer The Arlo Ultra camera is not backwards compatible with older generation Arlo base stations. At this time, you cannot sync an Arlo Ultra camera with a base station other than the Arlo SmartHub. If you are referring to the Arlo HD Wire-Free Camera, this camera is backward compatible to the Arlo SmartHub.
