• Everything you said depends on the details related to your question - but if you're upgrading, you most likely are going to Ultra cameras which automatically allows for 10 cameras and gives you 1 yr on the higher end plan for free.

• You can have as many Base Stations or Smart Hubs as you like on an account, but each subscription plan has a limit on how many cameras you can have on an account. refer to image.

• You will only have to upgrade your account if you are using more than 5 cameras or if you bought the Arlo Ultra. The Ultra comes with a free one year subscription.
