QuestionWhy doesn't this allow us to select any station we want. I was unable to select 99.4 which was being used at an event. This radio only allows for odd numbers 102.1, 102.3, 102.5, 102.7, 102.9 -- therefore I was not able to clearly hear the transmission!

QuestionInsignia arm band radio, model NS-R511(yellow)I bought this item 20-25 years ago. I was looking through some things for a yard sale and decided I'd keep it. I put new batteries in it and turned it on. It worked because the clock keeps flashing, but no radio. I don't remember how to make it work exactly but it can't too dificult. I really hate to throw it away because it must work because the clock is flashing. I looked at an online set of instruction but they were of no use. Any help would be much appreciated. Randy Klingma
