No. I saw someone on the internet saying it would, so I bought one of these (TM822R) today. It didn't work with Buckeye Cable in Toledo. I called Buckeye. They confirmed that it was not supported. The R version is reportedly not compatible with their software.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most modems are compatible but you will need to know what. DOSSIS your provider uses. Most providers us DOSSIS 3.0 in this case this modem will do fine. If they use DOSSIS 2.0 you can use a earlier model.
