QuestionI have xfinity triple play that has voice internet and cable and has x1 xfi but i dont use the phone/voice just have it for the discount if i get this will i still be able to keep plan even though ill no longer have modem capable of voice ?

- Answer Please note that the Xfinity Xfi service typicallyu requires an Xfinity rented gateway device. Please verify with Xfinity if they allow retail gateways to work with the Xfi service

QuestionI have Sudden Link as my ISP. This modem is maxing just above 400Mbps Download (should go close to 900Mbps) and just under 40Mbps (should go close to 50Mbps) Upload even though I'm signed up for the 1GB service. Faulty modem?

- Answer Hi, Please note that SBG7400 is a DOCSIS 3.0 wifi cable modem, in order to avail gigabit speeds most internet service providers require a DOCSIS 3.1 wifi cable modem.
