The Wi-Fi range is subjective based on construction materials and other environmental factors, it should meet the needs of a home under 2500 sq ft if it is centrally located.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have purchased 3 of these units. Distance depends on how high the unit is setup, lighting (florescent / some led interfere), and what type of wall (brick, drywall, siding) the WIFI signal has to pass through. I get my best results using static IP addresses (for hard wired) and highest floor in a central location. All of my TV's (3), printers (2), desktops (2), and Tivo OTA are hard wired with static IPs. Only 2 tablets, 2 laptops and 2 cell phones use wireless. The WIFI covers my complete 1/3 acre and then some without any problems. This setup I found keep internet moving with only 50MBPS service. I do not use any range extenders. I only use Netgear switches where needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have a 1800 sqft house, two story, and have no dark spots for signals. Working outside of the house, we have had the lower frequency up to half a block away. We do recommend you modifying the name and password once purchased. Great buy!
