Other than a MOCA modem you will require a moca adapter on the other end of your cable wiring for each moca device that does not come with moca capability. Each moca adapter is about $20.00.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my case I deployed MOCA via an Arris 6782 Router/Modem and my Tivo units (which natively support MOCA) required no additional ports or devices to run it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.MoCA is a new very good method off setting up a wired network in your home using the existing (coax) cable that is already installed in 90% of all homes instead of running new ethernet wire (which is slower!) it is popular with Tivo when more than one tv is used with the new TiVo mini.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes a cable splitter will be necessary. The guide (which you have to download from their website) gives you all the steps necessary to utilize this capability.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it's automatically on. No action is needed from you. New devices uses MoCa technology, will automatically use it. If you have devices that were manufactured prior to MoCa technology, they can still connect to the device, but won't be able to take advantage of the new technology. if you have a an old PC laptop, iPhon 5 (uses "N" router ), and iPhone 6 (uses a/c MoCa capability) all can connect to Motorola eXtreme modem and router simultaneously .
