Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device does not have a phone jack. If your current modem uses a telephone line, you will not be able to use this device if you want to keep or have to use a landline for other purposes. When we got our unit, we gave up our landline since it was also used to operate the rented modem from our cable company. We had planned to get rid of landline so it was not a big deal for us. It plugs directly into your computer and has a jack for cable that brings Internet service inside your home/office. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this does not. I realize that providers like TWC offer phone service and have a phone jack on some of their modems. Personally, I would NEVER use their phone service as it is way over priced. You can use several other local pone services like Magic Jack that cost less a year than TWC charges a month. I know, you get a break when you bundle, but for me, that break still was not enough. My MJ has now been active for around 6 years and have had nearly no issues. So for $100 you get 5 (FIVE) years of service. That is less than one year of TWC phone service. Good Luck......
