• Yes. You open the webcam with the camera app. It took me a while to figure that out. Cortina (or whatever it's called) helps you set-up the mic.

• Yes to both. It comes with a very basic web cam (640*480). You can use popular online chat programs like Skype on it. Video is not great though.

• Yes, it has a webcam and a mic. The webcam quality is not very good, but you can tell who you are talking to.

• Yes, this Asus - 11.6" Laptop has both a webcam and a mic built in.
